Here are some questions to help you process this message and apply it to your life: 1. Did you have a favourite neighbour growing up? If so, what made them your favourite?  2. Think of a time when you have used or looked for a loophole. 3. What stood out to you the most about this week’s message? Why? 4. Read Matthew 5:43-48. What thoughts or questions come up for you when you read these words of Jesus? 5. Commit to asking God to show how you can love your neighbour better than you currently do.

We heard how grace is getting what we DON’T deserve and mercy is NOT getting what we DO deserve. When have you experienced grace and mercy in your life? 5. How is your relationship with God reflected in the way that you live your life with others?

Why do you think it is so difficult to develop new habits? What are some new habits that serve you well that you have stuck with? What was it that helped you stick with it? 3. Read Luke 10:25-37. If someone was talking to you about Jesus and they asked you, “What must I do to inherit eternal life?” how would you answer them?  4. What stood out to you in this message? Why? 5. Over the next week ask yourself these questions: 1. Who is around me? And 2. What do they need that I can provide?
