There are so many different routes and reasons that have lead each of us here to The Meeting Place. In last week's KickOff message, we heard how God is building a home, and he’s using each one of us — no matter how we got here — in what he is building. Which leads to the question: Now what? Here are some questions to help you process this message and apply it to your life: 1. What’s the most adventurous thing you have done? (skydiving, river rafting, mountain climbing…) Would you do it again? Why/why not? 2. What thoughts come to mind when you hear the word ‘disciple’? 3. What was your biggest takeaway from this week’s message? 4. C. S. Lewis said that ‘Every Christian is to become a little Christ. The whole purpose of becoming a Christian is simply nothing else.’ Ephesians 5:1-2 What stage (exploring/growing/following/devoting) would you say you are at on your journey? 5. What is your next step on your journey? Class 1,2,3, or 4? Alpha? Experiencing God? Money Matters? What, if anything, would hold you back from taking that step? Will you take it?

There are so many different routes and reasons that have lead each of us here to The Meeting Place. I this KickOff message, we heard how God is building a home, and he’s using each one of us — no matter how we got here — in what he is building. Isn’t that amazing? So what does this Home look like at TMP? Way back in 1999, The Meeting Place was created for people who aren’t into church, the skeptic, and the curious. Our vision is to be a church that is known for unleashing God’s extravagant love on this city, and our mission is to equip people to love God and love others everyday and everywhere. TMP is a place where you can belong before you believe, and where doubts, difficulties, and differences can be shared without fear of judgement. We’re a church that plays rock songs and other music you’ll hear on the radio, and we’re a community where you don’t have to be your best or wear your Sunday best to be welcome. Here are some questions to help you process this message and apply it to your life: 1. What’s the best trip you’ve ever been on and what made it so great? 2. How did you come to be at The Meeting Place? 3. What stood out to you the most in the message? 4. God is building a home. He is using us all - irrespective of how we got here – in what he is building. (Ephesians 2:19) Does TMP feel like home to you? Why/Why not? 5. Read Matthew 5:14-16 and Matthew 28:16-20. What stands out to you the most when reading these words from Jesus? Are you overwhelmed or are you encouraged?
