Sometimes people pray to God hoping and expecting a specific answer or set of instructions. Yet, when God answers differently than they were wishing, they go forward with their plan anyway. And as Pastor Bill teaches today, God will allow you to follow your plan and reap the consequences, all the while HIS purpose is still fulfilled. Balaam ignored God’s commands but God prevailed, prevented him from cursing God’s people. And God received glory in the end. He can’t be thwarted nor can His plan fail.
