Jesus isn’t obligated to do anything for people here on earth. He could have stayed in Heaven with The Father and left man to a hopeless end, but He didn’t. In His love for you, He came to die for your sins so you could be forgiven and have eternal life. Pastor Bill is going to remind you today that all of it was a gift for you. All the suffering that Jesus endured was for you, so you can be made new and experience the joy of Him in your life; and He can revive you whenever you grow weary and need it.

Even your death, if you’re prepared for it when it comes, can point people to Christ. In death, you have nothing to fear, because leaving earth only means entering Heaven.
