Deuteronomy 6-8

August 31, 2021 • Pastor Bill Gehm

The Devil is often portrayed as a comical being with horns and a pitchfork. Most people don’t give the devil much more thought than that. Yet, as Pastor Bill teaches today, you have an enemy, the Devil. He’s real. He’s deceitful. He’s evil. He wants you for his own. But, He is not God. And because of that, you have great hope. You can stay strong in God to defeat the enemy. Cling to and rely on the Holy Spirit in you and know God’s word to fight the lies of the enemy. You’ll be victorious against Him with God on your side.

Remember how He lived, what His sacrifice was about, and the compassion He had for others. As Pastor Bill’s going to show you today, it’s the best way to understand what you’re reading. Jesus should be your focus all day long: when you read Scriptures, when you’re at work, school, at home, and anywhere else.
