Do you feel like singing and praising God when you’re going through a difficult time in life? It can be hard to thank God when we’re going through a trial. In his message today, Pastor Tom will encourage you to sing and praise God because God deserves it. God is good all the time. God is faithful all the time. Even when you can’t see it, God is faithful. Your emotions and how you “feel” on a particular day shouldn’t dictate whether you should be thanking God or not. He deserves your worship every day.

How careful are you when you interpret the Word of God? There are countless examples in the history of the church where people found a cause and tried to support their cause through incorrectly interpreted scripture. Don’t make that mistake. In his message today, Pastor Tom uses the example of taking up your sword. That’s something we have to be careful with. The Bible is not calling you toward violence against your enemies. You need to realize that you should be putting on the full armor of God for a spiritual battle.

We all have had those times when we were inspired by God or a movement of His people, and we felt alive. In today’s message, Pastor Tom will challenge you to move on. Don’t live in the past. God wants you to sing a new song as the Psalms says. Remember the past, but don’t stay there. Seek to find where God is moving now and be a part of it.
