2 Thessalonians 3:16-18

Only God can give true peace that the world can't take away. His peace is forever because He gives true rest for eternity for your soul. Today, Pastor Bill is going to point out that Jesus is The Prince of Peace Himself. To be totally transformed and be saved and to find the strength to keep running the Christian race afterward, you don't have to look any farther than Him. Ask Him to change you. Let Him have control in your life. Spend time in His Word, and let His peace flow over your life.

No matter what's happened in your life, no matter how bad of a past you have, Jesus' sacrifice on the cross was enough for you. God can still forgive you and give you eternal life. In Him, as Pastor Bill's going to show you today, is a hope for salvation and a peace that passes understanding. It's a peace you can have today, and it's a peace that the world and its sorrows and trials can't take away. It's yours if you want it, and all you have to do is come to God in humility, turn from your sins, and accept it.

There's never an end to all of the work that can be done for God's Kingdom while you're still here on earth. You can always be growing in your walk with Him by spending time in His Word and doing what it says. You can always be reaching the lost with the same hope for eternity that you have. Today, Pastor Bill's going to remind you that once your life on earth is over, that's when those opportunities will be no more. That's when you'll be judged for all the things you did on earth, both good and bad.

Who you spend time with matters to God. He calls you to live like Jesus and to go into all the world to preach The Kingdom of God. While there are moments you need to be reaching the lost to lead more to Christ, you need to be careful who you spend your other time with. Today, Pastor Bill's going to warn you against other believers who don't live according to what God's Word says. They affect others, but not in a positive way. Be on your guard against those that are close to you that can hurt your faith.
