What does it mean to be confident? Confidence means feeling sure of yourself – not in an arrogant way, but in a secure way. Confidence isn’t about feeling superior to others. It’s a quiet inner knowledge of being secure in your belief. If we are dwelling in Christ, abiding in Christ, and living in Christ, we have the confidence to know we will be with Him in eternity. In his message today, Pastor Bill encourages us to be bold in our confidence in Jesus and be looking forward to His return.

Is there a sin unto death? Can we pray for our fellow believers who are in the midst of that sin? All sin leads to death so we are admonished to pray for those in sin. The Lord can give them life when we pray diligently. Before you preach to them, or quote a Bible verse, stop and pray. In today’s message, Pastor Bill encourages us to pray with confidence for those in sin. He gives examples from the Bible of people who died because of their sins. We often neglect the very thing, prayer… that can save a life.

He says we should know for certain that we are a born-again believer. He encourages us to live in the knowledge of His Word and know our salvation is secured every day of our lives.
