Refreshing Reminders

2 Peter 1:12 NLT Therefore, I will always remind you about these things—even though you already know them and are standing firm in the truth you have been taught.   Key #1 - Remember YOUR WHY Nehemiah 9:17 NASB They refused to listen, And did not remember Your wondrous deeds which You had performed among them; So they became stubborn and appointed a leader to return to their slavery in Egypt. But You are a God of forgiveness, Gracious and compassionate, Slow to anger and abounding in lovingkindness; And You did not forsake them. Romans 3:22-24 NLT We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are. 23 For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. 24 Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins.   Key #2 - Remember to let Go 2 Corinthians 5:17 This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!   Key #3 - Remember to Go Deeper Luke 5:4-6 4 When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch.” 5 Simon answered, “Master, we’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets.” 6 When they had done so, they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break. Ephesians 3:18 NLT And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is.

When will you wake up? Mark 13:36 Always be ready. Otherwise he might come back suddenly and find you sleeping.   Key #2 - TO BE CAREFUL HOW YOU LIVE James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. Ephesians 5:1 Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children.   Key #3 - TO MAKE THE MOST OF EVERY OPPORTUNITY  1 Peter 4:7-8 MSG Everything in the world is about to be wrapped up, so take nothing for granted. Stay wide-awake in prayer. Most of all, love each other as if your life depended on it. Love makes up for practically anything.
