Simply Obey

October 23, 2022 • Ps. Justin Spina

Hebrews 11:8 NIV
By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going.

Key #1 - Delayed obedience is still disobedience
Psalm 119:60 NLT
I will hurry, without delay, to obey your commands.

Key #2 - SIT & STAY
Psalm 92:12-14 NKJV
The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those who are planted in the house of the Lord Shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bear fruit in old age; They shall be fresh and flourishing.

Key #3 - Obedience always leads to blessing
Luke 11:28 NLT
Jesus replied, "But even MORE BLESSED are all who hear the word of God and put it into practice."

Matthew 6:33 NKJVBut seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Key #4 - There is a miracle on the other side of your obedience
2 Kings 5:10
“Go and wash yourself seven times in the Jordan River. Then your skin will be restored, and you will be healed of your leprosy.”

2 Kings 5:11
But Naaman went away angry and said, “I thought that he would surely come out to me and stand and call on the name of the Lord his God, wave his hand over the spot and cure me of my leprosy.

2 Kings 5:14
So Naaman went down to the Jordan River and dipped himself seven times, as the man of God had instructed him. And his skin became as healthy as the skin of a young child’s, and he was healed!
