Your words are a flashlight to light the path ahead of me and keep me from stumbling

Matt 2:1 KJV

Now when Jesu was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,

Matt 2:2 KJV

“Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship."

Matt 2:3 KJV

When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.

Matt 2:4 KJV

And when he [Herod] had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born.

Matt 2:5 KJV

And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet,

Matt 2:7-8 KJV

“Then Herod called the Magi secretly and found out from them the exact time the star had appeared. 8 He sent them to Bethlehem and said, “Go and search carefully for the child. As soon as you find him, report to me, so that I too may go and worship him.””

Matt 2:9 KJV

After they had heard the king, they went on their way, and the star they had seen when it rose went ahead of them until it stopped over the place where the child was.

Matt 2:10 KJV

When they saw the star, they were overjoyed.

Matt 2:11 KJV

On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then, (then when?) they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh.
