In many aspects of life, endurance matters. We need physical endurance to carry out daily tasks. We need emotional endurance to ride the inevitable highs and lows of life. We need relational endurance to stick with someone when the going gets tough. And most of all, we need spiritual endurance, which Jesus so frequently stressed (Revelation 2:26; Matthew 24:13)!
