A note from Lead Pastor Kevin Pate: This past week my wife, Leah, cooked a meal for a friend who had just gotten out of the hospital. Luckily for me, she cooked a duplicate meal for the kids and me! So how was it, you ask? Let’s just say that I spent the entire next day looking forward to leftovers. It was that good! I don’t cook much, but as a “professional eater” I know when a key ingredient is missing in a meal! One ingredient can make or break hours of work in the kitchen. Missing it can leave a taste in your mouth that is just plain nasty! This Sunday we looked at one of the key ingredients of the Christian life that can make or break our lives. When this ingredient is present, we are able to clearly see glimpses of how BIG God really is! Without this ingredient in our lives we are destined to believe that God is small, which tempts us to be “god” in His place.
