A note from Bret:

Fifteen years ago - the summer of 2009, specifically - I was serving in the Middle School ministry of a local church. I took a week's vacation time so I could join the ministry for their summer camp at Forest Home. It was a blast, of course, but something really fun and special came out of that trip, too: this memory verse song!

Each day, the camp program had our churches competing in memory verse challenges. Simple recitation, a skit, a rhyming pattern...and eventually, a song. The associate pastor and I put our heads together on the song and came up with this little ditty, to the tune of Outkast's Hey-Yah! It was a hit :) and now, 15 years later, I hope it will be a blessing to your kiddos!

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

- Matthew 28:19-20
