This Sunday we will be looking at Mark 6:30-44. This passage of scripture deals with one of the most talked about miracles in the Bible, the feeding of the five thousand. We will look at what happens when one young child obeys God and doesn’t miss an opportunity to give everything he has so that Jesus can really use it. This young lad did not miss the opportunity to be involved in something bigger than himself. This Sunday we will look at how we can be part of something bigger than ourselves and do something great for God.

Shepherds seized the moment
December 5, 2021 • Pastor Danny Lovett
Have you ever wondered why God chose shepherds to be the first recipients of the glorious news concerning Jesus' birth? He didn't send Gabriel and the angel chorus to the priests, or the wise men, or the rulers. He chose the shepherds, even though they were despised by the orthodox Jews of the day. The nature of their tasks as shepherds kept them from keeping the details of the ceremonial law. The shepherds were considered the lowest of the common people. This Sunday we will see why God choose these Shepherds, and perhaps come to appreciate that God shows grace to those in humble circumstances.

Happy ThanksLiving!! We hope you had a wonderful time celebrating, laughing, napping, and feasting on Turkey and all manor of casserole. God has been so good to The Church at CW and we are honored and blessed to serve and minister alongside this sweet Church family! So we want to say, THANK YOU! Paul said, in Phillipians 4:4 "Rejoice in The Lord Always, and again I say Rejoice." How can we be thankful even when we don't feel Thankful? This Sunday's Sermon will dig into the answer and is entitled "How to be Mentally Thankful." ThanksLiving is more than a celebration, it is a state of mind.
Joy of Christian Living
November 21, 2021 • Pastor Danny Lovett
As we move into Philippians, chapter three, we will be looking at the Joy of Christian Living. This passage could be one of the most important in the Bible for the Christian. It has to do with the example we set before the world and before our families and friends. What kind of example are you? Those who know us, watch us; and they follow both the good and bad of our example. We influence people by how we live and by what we do. That is why it is so important that people see the joy of the Lord all over us as we live this Christian life.
