Protoevangelium

February 18, 2024 • Senior Pastor Brandon Holler • Genesis 3:15, Luke 24:44–46

Have you ever wondered why people didn’t recognize Jesus as the Christ while he was right in front of them? The reason is that they could not identify the numerous “Easter Eggs” in the Old Testament that pointed to him suffering and dying on the cross! By “Easter Eggs,” we do not mean the multi-colored decorations scattered around the lawn for kids to retrieve, but rather the hidden messages in today’s entertainment industry that viewers must carefully look for to find a deeper meaning. This Sunday, Pastor Brandon will begin to explore these magnificent Old Testament passages that clearly predict that it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and rise from the dead, which is precisely what Jesus did!
