Happy New Year from CAF

Happy New Year from CAF! What does CAF Do? -We host an annual conference that draws faith leaders from 34 states, -Canada and 17 difference denominations. -We host a robust website that has received 3,800 visitors this year from 84 countries from Aruba to Zimbabwe (mainly the US.)’ -We host a monthly webinar on addiction related issues and topics. We’ve had nearly 5,000 webinar registrants since we started three years ago -We feature our podcasts with inspirational stories of pastors telling how they recovered from addiction. -We have an amazing, free smartphone app filled with all our great resources including a tool to find local help by zip code. We just surpassed 1,100 downloads. -We host specialty 12-Steps groups, including ones especially for Clergy in Recovery, LGBTQ+ folks, Veterans, and Muslims. -We communicate regularly with our 4,600+ subscribers (mainly clergy and other faith leaders) with our newsletter, inspiration stories and blogs. -We host an annual Winter Solstice Longest Night Service for those struggling through the dark days of winter. -We have a growing number of partner congregations who are beginning to engage addiction ministry in meaningful ways. There is so much more we can and need to do. We would like to expand our ministries, but we are limited by current resources. What we do is important and needed.
