“You Gotta Understand the Fish”

October 30, 2016 • Pastor Darin Elquist

Paul gives us a great example of how to reach out to a pluralistic culture that believes in many gods and seeks to offend no one. The city of Athens represents much of what we face today in our city and world. People who believe all kinds of things, wanting to embrace everyone and yet who think believing in an exclusive god is arrogant and narrow minded. We can learn much from Paul about how to reach out to those around us.

“It’s About the Fish”

October 23, 2016 • Pastor Bill West

Jesus loved people-all people. He reached out and engaged everyone. He came that we might experience the life that God desired for us. His life was all about the people (fish). We are called to have the same passion. Our mission and mandate is to reach people-it’s all about the people.

“Your Fishing Spot”

October 16, 2016 • Pastor Bill West

Every person has a pool of people (fish) in their lives and a place of influence in those lives. God has placed those people in your life for a very specific reason. Each one of us has the privilege and responsibility to reach out those people and trust God to use us. There are people that you can reach which no one else can-we just have to be aware of the opportunity that we have.

“Why We Fish”

October 9, 2016 • Pastor Jose Skinner

The message of the gospel is one that is grounded in history. It’s a story about something that actually happened. It’s real and true. The reason we fish is that people will never know and understand the message of salvation unless someone tells them.

“Never Forget”

October 2, 2016 • Pastor Bill West

The first thing that we must understand is that all of us who know Christ did not at one time. It can be easy to forget that there was a time when we did not know Him. If you know Him, it’s simply because someone or some others told us about Him so that we could respond.
