Good Doctor

We typically know when it’s time to go to the hospital to see a doctor. We know there is a problem and we need a doctor to help. Jesus was a good doctor. As we close out our Bingeflix series, we’re going to draw inspiration from ABC’s “The Good Doctor.” In this message, Pastor Shala presents three things that we can learn from the life of Dr. Shawn Murphy, and how Jesus, the real Good Doctor, exemplified each of these things.

After living years as an upright citizen, Walter Scott gets involved in producing meth. As the series progresses, his character depreciates. The amazing thing is that Walter Scott’s character deterioration happens in the later part of his life. Many Christians are like Walter Scott. After many years of faithfully serving the Lord, they allow life’s circumstances to cause them to turn away from God or live a life that is displeasing to Him. I plan on looking at the life of Solomon. Solomon, who was the wisest person in the world and built God’s temple, allowed women to turn His heart away from God.
