Come As You Are

October 1, 2017 • Jumaine Jones

We strive to create and maintain a church culture where unbelievers are loved and unconditionally accepted, feel safe to explore faith, and find it is easy to know Christ. God takes unbelievers “as-is” and then transforms them into His likeness through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. God desires us to be authentic, not pretentious. The church is not to be condemning, but loving.

Relevance to Culture is Essential

We are committed to engaging our culture for Jesus Christ. As missionaries to our culture and community, we must meet people where they are. The “language” and style in which we minister is determined by our context. This requires a relentless commitment to change, innovation, creativity, and spiritual transformation. The church is not to be marginalized, but influential.

Everyone Matters

Every person is valuable in the eyes of God. We desire our church to reflect the diversity of our city and the body of Christ. We value people of different ethnicity, cultures, and backgrounds sharing life together.
