Agape does not envy others in relationships. Unfortunately, we tend to envy those closest to us. Moses experienced jealousy from his sister Miriam and his leadership partner, Aaron.
Agape leaves room for growth and grace.
Agape does not rejoice in someone else’s misfortune, even if it’s for it’s own benefit. It desires to see righteousness prevail.
Agape does not become easily angered. It does not blow a fuse. When we become angry, we make decisions we regret later and hurt the ones we love.
