Growing In Love

The Greek word for love in 1 Corinthians is Agape. God desires that we grow in agape. It is the main component of spiritual growth and experiencing authentic relationships. Our gifts, talents, success, and acquisitions are worthless if we don’t possess love.

Love Forgives

Agape does not keep a record of wrongs, but forgives others. God wants us to forgive others in the same manner Christ has forgiven us.

Agape is considerate of the way it treats others. God doesn’t want us to treat others the way we feel they should be treated, but the way we would want to be treated.
