We now know our calling, to reach our Oikos, our 8-15 people. We understand the power of the gospel. The next step is to go because people need to see what it looks like to follow Jesus but they also need to hear about the good news as well. People cannot respond to what they do not know and we must tell them. Beautiful People
In a world where truth is relative and people are private, many Christians have become afraid of ashamed to share the good news about Jesus. However, as followers of Christ, we can be assured that the gospel has the power to change lives and the Holy Spirit will lead us as we are open and willing to engage in meaningful conversations with those God had places in our “Oikos”. We do not have to allow fear or shame to stop us. The gospel alone has the power to save. Unashamed of the Gospel
The word gospel is used quite often in Christian circles. However, if you were to ask 10 people what it means you might get 10 different answers. It’s important that we have a correct understanding of the gospel for ourselves before we ever attempt to talk about it with others.
