40 Days of Prayer

Wednesday evenings • January 31, 2018

Life doesn’t always go as planned. At some point, you’ll face impossible obstacles and barriers — situations that make you think there’s no way this is going to work out. But God wants to help you handle uncertainty when it comes your way. He is ready and willing to give you a breakthrough, but it doesn’t just happen spontaneously; breakthroughs happen when you seek them. And the way you seek them is through prayer. Throughout the 40 Days of Prayer series, you will learn how to cultivate a powerful prayer life and experience breakthrough in your relationship challenges, financial difficulties, bad habits, health crisis, and many other areas of your life. When: Wednesdays, starting January 31st Time: 6:30-8pm Where: The Tedeschi Home, 303 Maplewood Ct, PR Contact: Email Tony Ritter

The Crazy Cycle

Tuesday Evenings • September 19, 2017

A 4 week series for unmarried to married, struggling to thriving, and everything in between. We know that divorce is a major issue in our culture today, both inside and outside the church. Despite our best attempts at love, couples find themselves paralyzed by dysfunction and mired in conflict. Why do we face so many seemingly insurmountable problems today? Is there hope for the struggle? What are we missing? In this 4-part series, Dr. Emerson Eggerichs sheds light on an often overlooked, yet indispensable element of a healthy marriage—respect. Combining biblical instruction with scientific expertise, Emerson provides insight into the unique ways in which God has designed both men and women and how they can rightly embrace their differences in marriage. As couples come to see the heart behind their partner's complaints, they will better understand the place for both love and respect between husband and wife. Rather than becoming another statistic, struggling marriages can break their Crazy Cycle and become thriving marriages by living in accordance to God's good design. When: Tuesdays, starting 9/19 (4 sessions) Time: 6:30-8:00pm Where: Church Meeting Room, 2732 Danley Ct #104 *Space is limited - sign up today*

Crossing the Waters - Women's Group

Tuesday mornings & evenings • September 11, 2018 • Angie Bonham

Get ready for the wettest, stormiest, wildest trip through the Gospels you’ve ever taken! The Gospels are dramatic and incredibly wet, set in a rich maritime culture on the shores of the Sea of Galilee. Yet we’ve missed much of this perspective—until now. In this 6-part series, Leslie Leyland Fields, author, speaker, and seasoned Alaskan fisherwoman, takes us on a journey through the life of Christ. She leads us across the waters of time and culture out onto the Sea of Galilee, through a rugged season of commercial fishing with her family in Alaska, and through the waters of the New Testament beside the ragtag fishermen disciples. Her own story and her fresh insights will challenge our understanding of Jesus and what it means to “Come, follow me.” When: Tuesday mornings & Tuesday evenings, starting September 11th Time: 8:30-9:30am & 6:00-7:00pm Where: The Bridge Living Room (2732 Danley Ct #104) Contact: Angie Bonham (805) 423-4482

The Book of Colossians - Men's Group

Thursday evenings • August 2, 2018 • Tony Ritter

What we think about Jesus matters. Our perception of Him shapes us—what we say, how we treat others, even what we think. If we paint Jesus as any less than who He is as supreme over all creation and savior of the world, not only does our theology slip, but the working out of our faith also suffers. In this 8-session series, Louie Giglio will take us through the book of Colossians to help us form a complete picture of Jesus. What we believe about Him influences everything from our corporate worship to our relationships to our attitude toward sin. Now alive in Christ, we can live a life worthy of God instead of falling back into the ways of the world. When: Thursdays, starting September 20th Time: 6:30-8pm Where: Silvestre Arellano's home, 1200 Shadow Meadow Way Contact: Tony Ritter (ritterbuilt@gmail.com)

What is Mercy Cares?

Sometimes life can throw you for a loop and it's more than one should carry on their own; whether it's bringing home a baby, having surgery, or needing help with groceries, everyone could use a little help from time to time. Mercy Cares is simply a group of people that want to help carry the load with you. Submit the nomination form for yourself or an individual or family of The Bridge that may need an extra hand. We will contact the individual and assess how we can best lighten their load & spread the love of Jesus.

Psalm 119

Thursdays - Men's Connect Group • October 19, 2017

Even the most mature believers face dark nights of the soul. During those times, God feels distant, His Word dry, and the vibrant intimacy we knew before seems absent leaving us wondering, “Where is the Lord in this?” In Psalm 119, pastor Matt Chandler aims to introduce viewers to the words of King David who experienced similar seasons of life. Serving as the anchor for the study, Psalm 119 demonstrates the power of God’s Word in the lives of believers and its ability to provide a warm blanket for the soul. When: Thursdays, starting 10/19 (10 sessions) Time: 6:30-8:00pm Where: Silvestre Arellano's home, 1200 Shadow Meadow Way Contact: Email Tony Ritter
