Doing God's Work Will Bring Opposition

January 28, 2024 • Dave DiDonato • Ezra 4, John 15:18–20, Romans 16:17–18, 1 John 4:18, Matthew 7:15

Remnant Lessons Regarding Biblical Persecution

Bold obedience to God’s Word will always bring worldly opposition.

Ezra 4:1-24, John 15:18-20, 2 Timothy 3:12

Satan’s primary strategy is to infiltrate God’s people from within; specifically, to doubt and deviate from God’s Word.

Ezra 4:2, Genesis 3:1, Matthew 7:15, Romans 16:17-18, 1 Timothy 6:20-21

Believers must anchor every decision in the truth of God’s Word, not the shifting waves of fear and feelings.

Ezra 4:4-5, 1 John 4:18, Galatians 5:7

Repentance & Renewal

March 17, 2024 • Ron Moore • Ezra 10, Ezra 9, Psalm 51:1, 2 Corinthians 7:9–10

Repentance consists of four connecting parts - the “Circle of Repentance”: ·     Repentance begins with awareness. ·     Awareness moves us to godly sorrow. ·     Godly sorrow drives us to the Person of God. ·     The power of God allows us to change. -------- DAILY DEVOTIONAL WITH RON MOORE Get Ron’s Daily Devotional to your inbox each morning; visit http://biblechapel.org/devo. Revival Begins In The Heart

March 10, 2024 • Ron Moore • Ezra 9, Psalm 139:23–24, John 6:44–45, Acts 11:18, 2 Timothy 2:25

Repentance begins with an awareness of sin.   How do we become aware of our sins?   ·     When we read God’s Word daily. ·     When the Holy Spirit convicts us. ·     When we are confronted with our rebellion. ·     When we are instructed in our ignorance. ·     When we are challenged in our indifference.   The Believer’s Daily Prayer for awareness of sin   Psalm 139:23-24 Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting! -------- DAILY DEVOTIONAL WITH RON MOORE Get Ron’s Daily Devotional to your inbox each morning; visit http://biblechapel.org/devo.
