Ten is the number of testing. Every time we receive income, we take a test. We choose whether to thank God first for the increase, or we choose to recognize our bills and obligations, leaving God down the list of priority.

Our money either has the spirit of mammon on it, or the Spirit of God. Money is never the answer, only God is. He cannot be rivaled, even by the pull of money.

Who is First?

God instructed His people that the first of everything; crops, livestock, children...belong to Him. The fist must be sacrificed or redeemed by another offering that is perfect. Jesus was offered to the Father as the perfect redemption lamb. When we offer the first, the rest is blessed!
