Biblical Hermeneutics--Session 1

February 13, 2021 • Jim Moynihan

Hermeneutics.  Why would anyone want to learn that?!? Biblical Hermeneutics means the science or method of accurately studying and interpreting the Bible.   As you know, the Bible was written a long time ago to a totally different culture and in a variety of literary genres.  All of these factors impact our ability today to properly understand the Bible--i.e. what it means for us today, and thus, how to properly apply it to our lives.   This Leadership Development Track course will be the first of three Biblical Hermeneutics classes (the next two classes will be March 13 and April 10).    This course will be presented in the Sanctuary to allow for social-distancing.  As we often done before, we will reserve the entire right hand side of the sanctuary as a "masks-only" section.  We will also be LIVESTREAMING this event and posting it to our website.
