The Suffering Christ

Who Do You Say I Am? Part 5 • November 22, 2020 • Pastor Chris Harper

LIVE: Who Do You Say I Am? 5

November 22, 2020 • Pastor Chris Harper

We're concluding our series this Sunday as we further explore what it is to rightly answer the question that Jesus asks of each one of us: "who do you say that I am?" Personalizing this question in our own hearts, and identifying with Christ in his suffering helps us to process our own suffering, and can offer a space for gratitude for who He is and what He has done. Despite the many challenges of 2020, we have a Savior who loves us and offers himself for our healing.

The Christ, His Kingdom

Who Do You Say I Am? 4 • November 15, 2020 • Pastor Chris Harper

Warning! This Sunday’s message is not for the faint of heart. When Peter answered the deeply probing question from Jesus, “who do you say I am,” it was in large part a bold confession to the power and authority of the Messiah (Christ- the Anointed One). Even Peter didn’t understand what this fully means to the Church. Will we? Three important questions need our immediate attention! What WAS that power and authority working to accomplish? What IS that power and authority working to accomplish? And finally, what WILL that power and authority accomplish in the end? Whether you’re with us online or in person, join us as we gather and worship together, and the life of Christ Jesus is formed in us.

The Blessed Revelation

Who Do You Say I Am? Part 2 • November 1, 2020 • Pastor Chris Harper

Life is full of questions. In our new series, we will continue to personalize the question that Jesus asked his disciples: "Who do you say that I am?" In this week's message, Pastor Chris will talk about the question that many of us ask ourselves, "who am I?" Sometimes we can lose our sense of identity in a relationship, a job situation, in grief and loss, or a variety of other life scenarios. As we seek to know Christ, our true selves are revealed and we become more aware of who we are in Him. Our understanding of who He is will profoundly impact who we believe ourselves to be.

BATTLE STRONG, Part 2 • August 30, 2020 • Pastor Chris Harper

In this series, we’ll feature one of the 7 or 8 famous battles from the Books of the Kings. Tomorrow we'll look at the battle at Dothan (a small but important city in the northern kingdom). We’ll make some important observations, and then as we talk about what this means, prayerfully, our faith will be stirred for a different kind of seeing. When life becomes more of a battleground than a playground, we need God’s grace to be BATTLE STRONG. This series is about what it is to be strong in Christ, in the midst of the great struggles that we all face. “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.” Eph. 6:10 This series reveals the timely and relevant truths from Scripture’s most infamous battles. We dare not miss what the Spirit of God is speaking to each believer and respond with a sense of urgency...not fear! Join us for powerful Sunday messages, multi-generational weekly devotionals, virtual and in-person prayer gatherings, and Scripture memorization (Ephesians 6:10-18). Together, our families, friends, and the Church will be BATTLE STRONG.
