Today in Worship we continue our sermon series, Come Home to Extraordinary Love. As we explore who we are as a church in the month of August, each week we will look at one of our Mission Essentials laid out in our 4D Vision Plan. Today we focus on our mission essential of Connect & Care by reflecting on the compassion of Christ that we see on full display in Matthew 9:18-26, 35-38. As a church, we long to reflect that same compassionate heart and empathy as we seek to connect and care for one another both within the church and out in our community. The questions for today are “how are we allowing our hearts to be moved with compassion and empathy for others and how are we expressing that compassion in loving action?”
