Pour Out My Heart

December 16, 2018 • December 16, 2018 • Pastor Chad Thompson

Bottom line: Because God is faithful, I can pour out my heart in worship and praise. Even when life is hard and difficult and I am pouring out my complaints and troubles before God, it can be turned to worship. I push through the pain to the point of praise when I remember God's faithfulness in the past and His power for the future.

Giving To The King

December 9, 2018 • December 9, 2018 • Pastor Chad Thompson

Bottom line: God has given us an unspeakable gift; therefore we should give with unspeakable joy. Why should we be or become people who give gifts to God as an act of worship and be overjoyed about it? Because love gives, trust gives, and worship gives.

With Lifted Hands

December 2, 2018 • December 2, 2018 • Pastor Chad Thompson

Bottom line: I can lift up my hands in worship to the One who reached down to save me. What we do with our hands in worship can be a reflection of what is actually in our hearts. Throughout history, uplifted hands have meant two things: victory and surrender. At the moment you surrender to God, you find victory in God. He is worthy of our praise and worship. David said, "I will lift up my hands in Your name" (Ps. 63:4). His uplifted hands reflected what was in his heart.
