A New Hope
February 25, 2018 • February 25, 2018 • Pastor Chad Thompson
Bottom line: How we experience life in the NOW is determined by our hope for the THEN when our faith is in the death and resurrection of Jesus back when. The New Heaven and the New Earth is our great hope. And we need hope, because we are hope-shaped creatures. What we hope for in the future makes all the difference in the NOW! Our NOW experience is controlled by our hope about the future. In the darkness of pain and suffering, it is the light of hope that shines the way forward.
A New Lease On Life
February 18, 2018 • February 18, 2018 • Pastor Chad Thompson
Bottom line: Jesus calls us as His followers to live a life of self-denial not self-improvement. What will we do with our new life Christ? Where will our priority lie? Purpose in life is found just on the other side of "what's in it for me?"
A New And Living Way
February 11, 2018 • February 11, 2018 • Pastor Chad Thompson
Bottom line: A new and living way to my relationship with God by grace provides a new and living way to live my life for God by faith. The New Covenant provides a new and living way to eternal life and a new and living way to live life.
A New Identity
February 4, 2018 • February 4, 2018 • Pastor Chad Thompson
Bottom line: Know you're new so you can live new by being renewed. In Christ we are new creations with new identities. We must know who we are and what we are in Christ. How we see ourselves will determine what we do, how we behave, minister, serve, etc. The power for living out our identity is our attachment to Christ. As Paul said, "I'm crucified with Christ, never the less I live, yet not I but CHRIST IN ME..."
A New Covenant

Bottom line: An “I will do” relationship with God offers no solution to my sin problem; the Law just “monitors” my sin condition. A “God will do” relationship with God offers me a solution to my sin problem; grace “fixes” my sin condition.
A New Command
January 21, 2018 • January 21, 2018 • Pastor Chad Thompson
Bottom line: Live love and as His disciple you will be known. Live love and Jesus through you will be shown. Jesus commands us to love one another even as He loved us. He gave a new fullness to the Old Testament command, "love your neighbor as yourself." Jesus is our pattern. Jesus is our power. When we live love, we truly can change the world. And the world will no that we are Jesus' disciples.
A New Song
January 14, 2018 • January 14, 2018 • Pastor Chad Thompson
Bottom line: I sing a new song from within because Jesus saved me from my sin. As we look back over the pages of God's Word we find where people often sang a sung of joy and worship in response to the deliverance of God. The Prodigal Son was wrecked in a pigpen and recovered by His father. His father sang over him. And it a probably safe to say, the he too sang a song of joy because of what his father did in restoring him. Why should we sing a new song of worship unto the Lord? Because He saved us, and so that others may be saved. (Ps. 40:1-3)
A New Start
January 7, 2018 • January 7, 2018 • Pastor Chad Thompson
Bottom line: A new start requires faith to follow God's leading. When God calls us to a new start, He calls to fulfill His purposes, to be be blessed, and follow His direction. God is always seeking to do a new thing. In order for us to participate with Him, we have to forget the past and trust Him today for what He is accomplishing.
