Bottom line: Repetition brings clearer vision.

The disciples' spiritual blindness gradually gave way to effective sight only after repetition of lessons. As they remained in the presence of Jesus they began to understand more and more. The began to see more clearly. They began to see Jesus for who He is more clearly. The began to see the vision to be accomplished more and more clearly.
