Bottom line: One day believers in Christ will rise in the rapture; but until that day, let us rise to the rapture's challenge.
The rapture is going to happen. We have the Lord's word on it. We cannot be dogmatic on the timing of it, but we can rest assured that Jesus is coming again.
In light of the fact that Jesus is coming again, we are challenged to be faithful to God and our church, to be loving to one another and others, to preach God's Word and share the gospel, to comfort the bereaved, and to focus on eternal things.

Bottom line: How we experience life in the present is determined by our hope for the future based on our faith in Jesus’ death and resurrection. We are hope shaped creatures. What we hope for in the future makes all the difference in the NOW! Our NOW experience is controlled by our belief about the future. Our hope is that one day we will live with God in a new heaven and new earth. Knowing this is our future we can make it through any trouble and adversity in our present.
