Partnering In The Gospel

May 28, 2023 • Pastor Chad Thompson • Philippians 1:3–5

Bottom line: Missions is a partnership between a missionary and a sending church for the "furtherance of the gospel" so that Christ may be made known.

A sending church and missionary partner together in prayer, in faithfulness of defending the gospel, in sacrifice for God's glory, in labor to spread the gospel, in finances to support the gospel's furtherance.

Show'em The Score In 2024

December 31, 2023 • Curtis Epnett • 1 Corinthians 15:57–58

Bottom line: Show the world the score in 2024 by living out the victory given to us in Christ. What's in store for God's people in 2024? Victory! We can live out the victory of Jesus in our lives if we will live our lives in obedience to God. How do we live out the victory? 1) Shout the victory Proclaim your thanksgiving for what God has done for you through the victory of Jesus. God has given us victory over death because of Christ's victory on the cross, victory over the sting of death which is sin, and victory over the one who held the power of death, Satan. 2) Sense the victory Respond to the reality of your life by sensing the person, place and permanence of victory. Let's live our lives in close proximity to Jesus. 3) Smell of the victory Light the incense of your life so that the world may smell the victory of Jesus in your life. Light the incense by transforming your hurts into hallelujahs. Light the incense of your life by letting your persecution be turned into praise. Light the incense of your life by living out the victory of Jesus in your life.

Living & Leaving A Legacy

July 30, 2023 • Josh Croswell • Psalm 1

Bottom line: I can leave a legacy worth following if I'm intentional with my character, conduct, convictions, and compassion. The Path Principle states that it is our direction, not our intention, that determines our destination. If we want the destination of our lives to leave a legacy worth following, we must move in the right direction. We have to follow the path principle in our parenting. Let's intentionally live a legacy of godly character, godly conduct, godly convictions, and Christlike compassion. When we do this, we move in a direction that leads us to leave a legacy worth following. It isn't our intentions that get this done; it is our intentionality in each of these areas: character, conduct, conviction, and compassion.

Light Up The Darkness

July 2, 2023 • Pastor Chad Thompson • 1 Peter 2:1–12

Bottom line: We light up the darkness when Jesus' life shines through us. In a culture where the light of the church is dimming, we can turn up the brightness of the light . Peter teaches us five things we can do to light up the darkness in 1 Peter 2:1-12. We can live evangelistically, grow in maturity, serve in ministry, identify peculiarly, and sacrifice worshipfully. As we do these things, we shine the light of Jesus' life into the culture around us.
