Bottlenecks & Burnouts

Bottom line: Bottlenecks in my life lead to burnouts in my life.

Jethro watches Moses working and ministering to the people from sunup to sundown. He asks Moses two questions: 1) Why are you doing what you are doing (a question of priority), and 2) Why are you doing it alone (a question of personnel). And Jethro gives his conclusion: What you are doing is NOT GOOD. And you will wear out. Moses, you are bottlenecking the ministry. Delegate to others what can be done by others and do what can only be done by you.

We can all learn from the episode in Moses life. Our lives are better when we concentrate on our true priorities.
