Bottom line: We can be forgiven of disobedience, but we must live with the consequences.
Moses periodically let his temper get the better of him. It led him to sin in unbelief and cast a shadow upon the glory of God. As a result of his sin, God did not let him lead the children of Israel into the Promised Land.
