Thanksgiving is a special time to gather with family and celebrate all the wonderful things in life. Today we hear about ten lepers who couldn’t gather with their families, whose lives had been ruined by this disease. Yet Jesus draws near to them, restoring them to health and to a loving community once again. Together with the one thankful leper, we give thanks to our Savior, Jesus, who has cleansed us from our sin sickness and brought us into God’s family. O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good!
