Jesus taught us to pray “Our Father”, so he obviously intends our prayer life to be a “Together in Faith” Life. Today we will explore the unity, strength and comfort that come with prayer for and with one another. These are the blessings of walking together on our spiritual journey, connecting more with God and with people who will support and uplift you in every season of life.

In Jesus’ ascension, he promises his Holy Spirit and sends us to “Go and make disciples.” On Pentecost, He pours out his Holy Spirit to equip us, strengthen us, and guide us as we live out our faith. God is already doing his work in this world, and he invites us to be a part of it. Will you join him?

We are people of the Word and people of the Spirit. The Word is where the ministry of the Spirit is at work leading and guiding the church and each of us as members of that church by Baptism and faith. The Spirit leads us to Christ so that Christ may present us to the Father, forgiven by His work of salvation - His obedient life, His sacrificial death, His glorious resurrection, and His ascension back to Heaven. This is not good news intended just for the few but the message God has called us to share as the Holy Spirit works through us to “Connect People with Jesus”.
