Pastor Steve’s Blog Aug 19, 2018 I love it when the Holy Spirit is not only speaking to me during the week, but is also speaking to various members of the congregation. I think that is great and it excites me when I hear stories of how God is working in the lives of the people at St. Paul. I love it when I am asked, as I was today: “what is the Holy Spirit saying to you this week?” I responded that the Holy Spirit is encouraged by what is happening at our church right now. For instance, we have people who want to be a part of the exciting work that the Holy Spirit is doing by becoming members of our congregation. Pray for our new members that the Holy Spirit will lead them in days ahead as to how they can contribute to the ministry here. We also had a “hilarious” month of giving to the church and to the parking lot during the month of July. Good job everybody! Outstanding seed-planting! Let’s do it again in August and September. Some seeds are already producing a harvest. As we currently celebrate all these great things God is doing as we move into the Fall, let us move forward with an eye to expectation and consistency in support of our church with our gifts, our service, our time and our talents. It takes all four, from all of our members each month, to help make our church vision a reality. Thanks again for a great July! Have a blessed week!
