The date for the Christmas Bazaar is set for November 4th, 2023 from 10:00- 2:00 in our multi- purpose room! With our famous “Turkey Noodle Casserole” being served from 11:00-1:00 in our lovely dining room. Cost this year is $12.00, and children under 5 are free. Of course there will be take- out if that works better for you. Tickets will be on sale soon!! More planning went into sponsoring a successful bazaar at our last meeting, if you would like to help, we can always use more workers and some new ideas. To honor our former chairperson- Lori Ludwig, we are splitting our “tithe” money between the two places she served graciously for so many years. The friendship room at St. Bernard’s and Trinity Sunday Supper. If you are a canner, we can always use more canned items, as people usually come to fill their pantries from our Country Store. The baked items are always a sell out, so we could always use more pies, breads, cookies, and assorted novelties. Our boxed cookies are a big hit, picking up a dozen or two, you can do your fancy cooking/baking right here that Saturday. Our Needlework area is jammed full of aprons, hats, scarfs, dish towels and cloths, mittens and scrubbies, too.
