Many children in our area sleep on the floor due to lack of beds. Sleep in Heavenly Peace has a warehouse where they build and distribute beds to those in need at no cost. Volunteers don't need any special skills—just show up, and they will provide everything you need to help.

- Dress in clothes that can get dirty as the sawdust flies, and dress according to accommodate for whatever kind of outdoor weather we have for the day. Many of jobs will be done outdoors, some will be inside, but we typically leave our garage bay door open, so it can be a little chilly inside at times as well. Close toed shoes are a must. We provide safety eye wear, masks, ear plugs, and gloves. 

- We welcome and encourage families to come work together. There are tasks for little ones, typically around ages 5/6 and up, but we don’t put an age restriction on who can come. We do ask that if parents bring little ones, that they keep close watch on them as we do have power tools running the whole time.

- They would gladly accept any NEW pillows, or twin size bedding if you would like to contribute.
