John Lennon wanted us to imagine a life without heaven or hell.

My guess – he just wanted us to imagine a world without religion of any kind. 

And perhaps he was onto something – religion tends to divide people – lots of wars are a result of a religious conviction…still to this day – wars are being fought because of religion. 

There is something in all of us that dream of that place.
