Contentment – perhaps one of the things that is messing us up – I am trying my best to prove myself – there is a difference between trying to improve myself and trying to prove myself – when you are content – there is nothing to prove. All my needs are met. I am full.

Depression

I’m proud of Stonebridge for taking on this topic– it is pervasive and necessary– even though it’s also … hard. Barna research– through the State of the City project– tells us that about 53% of people surveyed in Omaha feel depressed. That’s more than half, which for an average Sunday morning just at Stonebridge equals thousands of people living with depression, many of whom are here today. I don’t take this lightly.

Anxiety
