Welcome to Advent - the beginning of the Church year where we wait and prepare for the Celebration of Jesus' birth. This week we hear the story of an older couple who discover that they will have a child in their old age as a gift from God. It is a story of HOPE! It is the story of the telling of the coming birth of John the Baptist who will point the way to Jesus!
