Pentecost Sunday
May 28, 2023 • Pastor Jim Mericle • John 7:37–39, Acts 2:1–21
Today is Pentecost Sunday which is often considered the beginning of the Christian Church. On this day, we celebrate the giving of the Holy Spirit to the apostles and the ability for people to hear the good news in their own language. Today we are called to share the good news and trust the Holy Spirit to enable people to hear it in a way they understand. How is God working in and through you? Today we are also baptising a family!

What is really important in life?

What are the lessons of the parable of the Rich Fool? Material things may make us more comfortable but they do not provide the most important things in life - that comes from God and is borne out of generosity, thankfulness and appreciation.
