New Friends

February 13, 2022 • Pastor Jim Mericle • 1 Samuel 18:1–3, 2 Samuel 9:6–13, John 15:12–17, 1 Samuel 19:1–7

This message focuses on a friendship formed out of the most unlikely of circumstances (Jonathan & David). It serves us as a model of the power of strong friendships, no matter individual differences. The goal is to take steps toward friendships in our faith community for the mutual benefit of all.

New Focus

February 6, 2022 • Luke 18:1–8, Philippians 4:4–7

This week we hear the story of the Parable of the Unjust Judge and the persistent widow and how it relates to helping us find a new focus in our life through regular prayer.

New Mind

January 30, 2022 • Pastor Jim Mericle • Joshua 1:1–9, Romans 12:1–2

This week's message is focused on renewing our minds. Our mind is like a muscle. It can be strengthened and made more effective. In fact, the Bible speaks to this in Romans 12:2 "Do Not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may prove what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect." It's when we renew our mind that we receive clarity about who God is and what God wants for us.

New Heart

January 23, 2022 • Pastor Jim Mericle • John 4:1–30, Matthew 6:33

The message focuses on the story of the Woman at the Well. The big idea here is that this woman experienced the life changing power of Jesus. He transformed her heart and is able to transform our heart.
