A conversation with Christ brings healing and peace. Sometimes this is manifested in physical healing, like the woman, the leper, or the blind, but sometimes it can go beyond that. Christ's words and conversation turn our eyes towards God and the ultimate power, grace, and peace that only can come from Him.

The Cornerstone Sermon
August 11, 2024 • Rev. Dr. Roger Clayton • Mark 10:17–31
A conversation with Christ comes at a cost. Grace was purchased for us, but to become a Disciple will cost us the same crucifixion that purchased our salvation. This is a very hard pill to swallow and something that is not ready to be done by everyone. It doesn't mean that Christ withholds the invitation, but He will not compromise on the cost that it brings.
