Because of COVID we were inundated with messages about good physical hygiene, but what about healthy hygiene habits for our emotions? When we neglect our emotional hygiene, we tend to be controlled by them, instead of us being in control. Our emotions have the powerful ability to impact our physical and mental state. In fact, we can’t think of an area that isn’t affected by our emotions. God gave us a mind, a body, AND our emotions. Sometimes emotions can get overlooked in the church world as if they only belong to the realm of self-help or psychology. But if God gave them to us, then He has something to say about how we can have good emotional health. As I’m sure you’ve figured out by now, when our emotions are healthy every area of our life tends to get better. Join us this September as we come in for a checkup and start developing healthy habits that create Emotional Hygiene.
