Spend your lunch break lunch reconnecting with nature in a more intentional way. We will meet near the education center at Halyburton Park every Thursday from Noon - 1:00 pm between FEB 26 - MAR 26.
This is a weekly gathering in nature during Lent, offering gentle, guided sensory experiences inspired by the evidence-based medical practice of forest bathing. Each session starts with a 30 minute guided nature sensory experience and meditation followed by an optional 30 minutes for a circle of sharing time and brown-bag picnic lunch.
Research shows time spent slowly, attentively, and repeatedly in nature helps ease stress, calm the nervous system, lower inflammation, and support emotional and physical well-being. Each session is an invitation to rest, listen, and receive God’s care through the natural world—allowing our bodies, minds, and spirits to be gently restored.
