What is Apologetics?
Apologetics simply means “defense”. It is derived from the Greek word “apologia”, which is a legal term relating to giving an answer for, or a defense to.
When we talk about apologetics in a Christian sense, we look to 1 Peter 3:15, and what it means to give an answer for the hope that we have in the Lord.
In a world with so many competing worldviews and perversions of truth, we must be equipped to give an answer, simply, for why we believe what we believe.
The Bible is reasonable, rational, logical, livable, and above all, true. Apologetics for the Church is all about equipping all believers to both know this and to defend and commend it in gospel conversations.
Who Can Go?
This conference is for EVERYBODY, but we recommend ages 12-100+. We also invite all worldviews and all religions, or lack thereof. We will explore logic, philosophy, and reality, and examine where and how the scriptures speak authoritatively to each of these.
